Richard Y. Boerner, our general dentist, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California, graduating in the top 1% of his class.

Dr. Boerner is currently a member of USC’s faculty and spends much of his free time teaching and mentoring dental students. Here at Newport Bay Dental Dr. Boerner creates each crown, partial crown, inlay, and onlay himself rather than sending it to an outside lab.

This allows him to handcraft and customize each restoration to provide the patient with the best cosmetic restoration possible. Using the latest in-house technology, Dr. Boerner is able to create your restoration while you wait or within one day instead of the usual two weeks it takes a dental lab to do the same work.
